The Australasian Pig Science Association held its inaugural conference in 1987 with the aims of encouraging and promoting scientific discussion and collaboration amongst scientists interested in pig research and pig production. Conferences are held every two years and the Proceedings are published as hardbound monographs with a common title: Manipulating Pig Production. Twelve volumes have now been published.
Personal copies of the Proceedings of APSA conferences are invaluable for post-graduate students, research scientists, practitioners and advisers in animal science, veterinary medicine and the pig industry. Also, full sets of Manipulating Pig Production I-XII are essential reference texts and should be available in Libraries of Universities, and Research & Industry Organisations.
