APSA membership is open to anyone with an interest in pig science, regardless of location or particular field of study.
APSA membership is due every second year and costs A$30 for students, A$50 for members from Australia or New Zealand, and A$80 for overseas members. An initial joining fee of A$50 is also required for new members. Please note, Australian members pay an additional 10% GST on all fees. For this very small cost, APSA members receive discounted registration to the biennial conference, a copy of the Proceedings (an electronic copy will be sent if not attending) and the opportunity to network with others involved in the pig industry both in Australia and overseas.
Membership fees are biennial - ie. 1st July 2019 to 30th June 2021. Member discounts on conference registration are only available when membership is current at the time of the conference. Memberships for the 2019 conference period can be purchased or renewed as of 1st April 2019.
By completing the online registration process you are agreeing to:
- Becoming a member of APSA;
- Supporting the purposes of APSA (see Constitution clause 2); and
- Agreeing to comply with APSA's Constitution.
